As we start our 2017-2018 school year, I welcome you back to another phenomenal year of school! My name is Kelli Cronin and I am the Special Education teacher at Onida Elementary. This is my 17th year in education. My teaching experience includes 4 years of teaching Kindergarten, 3 years of teaching 2nd grade, a Reading First Coach for 2 years, a Literacy Coach for 2 years, the Dean of Instruction for 1 year, a Reading Recovery teacher for 1 year, Grades 4th, 5th, and 6th English Language Arts teacher for 3 years, and now my first year as a Special Education teacher. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, a Master’s degree in Literacy, and recently accomplished a life goal of earning a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. Lifetime Learner! I spent 12 years in Fort Worth, TX and a year in Rapid City before moving to Onida. My daughter and I enjoy being back to a small community! We are looking forward to another great school year!
